Current Partnership Opportunities
A4e is a fast growing international organisation that manages and delivers services in partnership with Government, public sector organisations, private sector organisations and the voluntary and community sector.
The company’s overall goal is to improve people’s lives through social change. We specialise in providing services that make a difference to individuals and the communities they live in.
A4e is a member of the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) and the Association of Learning Providers (ALP) and is committed to the Department of Work and Pensions’ Code of Conduct, Merlin Standard and Supplier Charter.
Our Partnership approach
No one organisation can meet the needs of all public service customers, particularly those furthest removed from the labour market or deepest in poverty. So we work with thousands of organisations across the globe to deliver front line public services. Public, private, not for profit – from the largest multinational to the smallest neighbourhood organisation, we work with partners because they are often the best placed to deliver quality local services.
Working with our Partners we look to develop solutions that balance a proven track record with fresh new ideas; to make a sustainable impact on communities whilst offering scale; to deliver flexible & local services that achieve consistently high outcomes; and offer value for money with fairly balanced risk & reward.
For instance, A4e currently works in partnership with over 160 organisations to deliver Welfare to Work services to disadvantaged people on behalf of DWP. We work with organisations in a range of ways including as a managing agent, prime contractor and consortia lead. Our partners are from all sectors and enable us to offer a diverse range of services that fully meet our customers’ needs.

The Foundation for Social Improvement - Sharing Learning & Building Capacity with the Third Sector
Everyday small charitable organisations support individuals, families and communities and positively touch the lives of millions. On a daily basis thousands of these organisations struggle to keep their doors open and reach everyone that needs their help. In April 2007, philanthropist and A4e Chairman, Emma Harrison, made the decision to start a charity that would allow her donations, and
those of others, to give small charities the strategic support they need to stay open and be there for everyone who needed their help. Instead of criticising small charities, it was a vision of strengthening them. This vision has become The FSI’s mission.
A4e is proud to work with the FSI to develop and build the capacity of our Third Sector partners, drawing on the FSI’s expert knowledge and providing our Partners with the opportunity to access their free training and support.
